Bible verses and the power of God

The Bible has said it all, we need to measure all we do and come back to the Bible every time. These Scriptures will, therefore, encourage you greatly.

1 Chronicles 29:11, 12,
'Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all'.

Psalm 29:4,
'The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty'.

Psalm 62:11,
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God'.

Psalm 66:7,
'He ruleth by His power for ever; His eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves'.

Jeremiah 10:12,
'He hath made the earth by his power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His discretion'.

Isaiah 40:26,
'Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth'.

Luke 4:14,
'And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about'.

Luke 4:32,
'And they were astonished at His doctrine: for his Word was with power'.

Luke 4:36,
'And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a Word is this! for with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out'.

Matthew 24:30,
'and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory'.

Matthew 26:64,
' Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven'.

Revelation 5:11,12,13,
'And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.'

'And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease'.

2 Corinthians 13:4
'For though He was crucified through weakness, yet He liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you'.

2 Peter 1:3,4,
'according as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust'.

Acts 1:8,
'But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth'.

Acts 4:33,
'And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all'.

Acts 1:8,

'Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost'.

1 Corinthians 2:4,
'And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power'.

2 Corinthians 12:19,
Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

Ephesians 1:19,
'and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised him from the dead, and set Him at his own right hand in the heavenly places'.

Ephesians 3:7,
'whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power'.

Ephesians 6:10,
'Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might'.

Colossians 2:10,
'And ye are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power'.
2 Thessalonians 1:11,12,
'Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ'.

1 Thessalonians 1:5
'For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake'.
